Rosie Blas-Pineda is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated with an M.S. and Option in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy from California State University, Los Angeles. She is Certified, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and BrainSpotting Practitioner, in addition to being a Domestic Violence Counselor and Anger Management Consultant. Ms. Pineda is committed to educating the public about Emotional Regulation and creating Healthy Relationships. She provides consultations and is a community presenter and educator.  

Ms. Pineda conducts Infant-Parent therapy and is actively involved in the early detection and treatment of behavioral problems in children from 0-5 years of age. She was past clinical supervisor for first year interns and Registered-interns at Azusa Pacific University and  supervised for Head Start Program Manager. Rosemead, CA. She is a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist, and is on the International Registry of Certified Infant Massage Instructors (CIMI). She has received her certificate as Infant-Preschool Mental Health from Alliant University, Los Angeles.

MISSION STATEMENT

Ms. Rosie Pineda's mission is to educate the public about the importance of brain development in the early years, ZERO TO FIVE. Her goal is to help parents/caregivers develop skills to build healthy parent-child relationships and understand the connection between healthy human connections and healthy social-emotional development. Healthy development of a young child is affected by the timing of risks and/or opportunities the child is exposed to. 

INDIVIDUAL-COUPLE'S  ANGER MANAGEMENT

CAM offers individual and couple's Anger Management sessions. The first meeting may take from 1-1/2 hours. First meeting is for the purpose of gathering assessment information and history of triggers that are activating anger. Therapist assists individuals and couples to manage their negative thoughts about triggering events. Individuals and couples are introduced to effective communication skills to stop "blaming". Personal responsibility and the power of choice is an essential part of the Anger Management Program. To schedule an appointment, please call (626) 272-8944.
